October is Menopause Awareness Month a time to shine a spotlight on the changes, challenges, and opportunities faced by women during this life phase. At Annutri, our mission is to nourish and support holistic wellbeing, and this month especially, we’re committed to raising awareness, breaking stigma, and enabling women to take charge of their health.
Why Menopause Awareness Matters
Menopause is a natural transition, yet for many women, it comes with symptoms that are misunderstood, under-discussed, or dismissed: hot flushes, night sweats, mood changes, sleep disruption, hair thinning, low energy, and more. Without adequate information, many suffer in silence.
Understanding the hormonal, metabolic, and emotional changes that occur during peri-menopause and menopause empowers women to seek the right guidance, support, or treatments. It also helps family, friends, and health professionals better empathise and respond.
During Menopause Awareness Month, we aim to:
-
Educate: share accurate, evidence-based information
-
Normalise conversation: reduce shame, stigma, and taboo
-
Connect women with resources, tools, and communities
-
Highlight stories of strength, resilience, and transformation
